Following a hugely successful inaugural year in 2022, we will support more gardens for good causes in 2023. They will be presented at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, before being repurposed and relocated to their permanent homes across the UK. These include seven Show Gardens announced by the RHS. All gardens we support are inspired by UK charities and will live on after the show as a lasting legacy for their individual good causes - as teaching gardens, community spaces and other beneficial green spaces.

We are pleased to announce the gardens for good causes that we will support in 2023, following our highly successful inaugural year this year. These include seven Show Gardens that will be presented at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, before being repurposed and relocated to their permanent homes across the UK. Further gardens supported by PGB will be announced later in the year.
All gardens we support are inspired by UK registered charitable organisations and will live on after the RHS Chelsea as teaching gardens, community spaces and other beneficial green spaces to create a lasting legacy for their individual good causes.
Hattie Ghaui, CEO of Project Giving Back, says:
“We’re so excited to be starting this incredible journey with our 2023 cohort of gardens for good causes. Our experience in 2022, which helped set the tone and future direction for PGB, has only strengthened our vision and determination that gardens really can make a meaningful and lasting impact. We are thrilled to be working with such a talented group of designers. And what a group of charities; from large household names, to specialist organisations, they are all making a difference to people and the planet and we are honoured to be helping them tell their stories on the Chelsea platform in 2023.”
The show gardens supported by Project Giving Back in 2023 are (in alphabetical order):
Further gardens we are supporting next year will be announced soon, including smaller gardens in the All About Plants category that will again be staged in the Great Pavilion and largely created by first time Chelsea designers.
Rosie Atkins, editor, former curator of Chelsea Physic Garden and Chair of the PGB Board of Trustees, says:
“We are proud to be supporting a truly interesting and inspiring group of gardens at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in May that we hope will resonate with show visitors, raise the profile of the causes associated with each garden, and encourage a new wave of nature and garden enthusiasts.”
RHS Chelsea Flower Show runs from 23 - 27 May 2023. Tickets are now on sale via the RHS website here.
