House Nine Design and Project Giving Back helped raise over £15,000 to help those fleeing domestic abuse through the charity Furnishing Futures.

Another good cause we are honoured to have brought support and awareness to this year is the grassroots charity Furnishing Futures, in collaboration with London-based interior design architecture practice House Nine Design.
Furnishing Futures fully furnishes and decorates the homes of vulnerable women and children who don’t have access to essential furniture items. They do this by partnering with the interiors industry to repurpose high-quality products that might otherwise be sent to landfill. Social work values are combined with interior design skills to create healing homes for families who have experienced multiple disadvantages and trauma, particularly women and children who are moving on from domestic abuse.
As part of Project Giving back's trade stand at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2022, House Nine created a beautiful and welcoming setting for attendees to learn more about good causes and have a chat away from the hustle and bustle of the show. After the show, all design and interior items were donated or auctioned off, with all proceeds going to Furnishing Futures. Ultimately, the auction raised £15k, and items such as wall lights, a few bits of art, a TV, and glassware were on their way to make someone's house a home.
